In human populations - these viruses MUST SPREAD or else they 'BURN OUT'... the Human immune system eradicates them slowly... but they jump from person to person... causing the infection path in the community to continue.
It is possible that in Jan some Influenza comes back to some degree .. there are many places to catch it.
