Also: I use Linux (Ubuntu) for my daily driver, and adding plug ins and that sort of thing is above my tech level, so I will probably not be opting for this- unless it can be explained in simple terms- of course.
Oh- and it looks like you can choose some other instance of Invidio.us for Youtube redirects(seeing as he pulled the plug on it) like yewtu.be , etc.
Update: I checked, and adding extensions to Brave on Linux works without having to do any command line input. Instructions here.

When I went to the link to Chrome store from Github, it correctly IDd my browser as Brave and gave me a link which installed it with no fuss. Thus far it seems to be working. I am slightly concerned about seeing the twitter link come up for a second before it goes to Nitter, however. Is this truly confidential and avoiding Twitter tracking?
