Houstonian here. Don't lean on Cornyn for anything. He has let Texas down endlessly. I think the last time someone challenged him for his seat in any meaningful way, Richard the Lionheart was still making plays for Jerusalem.
Cruz does need to make an unequivocal statement of support for challenging the election. He's been talking about stringing up electoral fraudsters for days and yet... I mean, maybe he thinks it's implicit in his statements, but it really isn't. The two things -- objecting and pushing for prosecutions -- are easily interpreted as two separate issues.
