I have a lot of larger "traditional" pistols. I have a cz scorpion, I have a variety of 300blk and 556 PSA ar pistols one Radical Firearms 300blk upper, I have a 6.5 grendel pistol, I have a mossberg shockwave firearm. I have PSA AKP, My girlfriend has a ar pistol that we generally keep the cmmg 22 conversion bolt in, all of these are braced. Needless to say, I was concerned about the pistol brace ruling change taking away my freedom. I'm not interested in avoiding the NFA, at all, I just happen to like "large format pistols" and they would all are much more stable to fire with a brace. The gun I'm looking to buy if I can ever find one in stock is a cz SP-01 urban grey (suppressor ready)... So yea, I have a type.
Of my suppressed guns, the glock 45 mos suppressed is probably my favorite, followed by my 6.5 creedmoor bolt gun, followed by my PSA 300blk pistol. I really like my wolfman and how I can swap it back and forth between my 300 blk pistol to my AK pistol to my cz scorpion to my keltec sub2000 and it just needed a little investment in the muzzle device "micro brakes" for the quick-detach. If you want to suppress a pistol I recommend dedicated pistol suppressors, if you want to suppress a rifle I recommend a dedicated rifle suppressor, but if you want to do "sub gun" there are a lot of options on the market right now, YHM and Dead Air both have really amazing options. SOMETIEMS dedicated is good, I have a home defense rifle with a YHM turbo K. The YHM R9 can also do basically every think I do with my wolfman at half the price. Not the quietest or cheapest, but any silencer is better than no silencer. I'm a huge fan, all about versatility but I think the silencerco hybrid 46 is pretty much useless for everything except .45 caliber rifle rounds like 450 bushmaster or 458 socom. The nomad is great, but my Radical firearms 30 caliber suppressor is 90% as good at 50% of the price.
