Sometimes it's causing strokes -- in a few cases that was the first thing that sent a patient to a hospital -- but also causing clotting elsewhere (I would assume including lungs, but I didn't catch the whole segment). A couple of days ago, I read about an actor who had a leg amputated due to a clot which developed while he was hospitalized for coronavirus.
