says it will be closed on January 4, 5, and 6 "for the safety of visitors and employees."

there are no other hotels threatening to close down

they are not going to shut down an entire city- the most visited city in the country

what would happen to all of the tourists, diplomats, business people etc if they had nowhere to eat, sleep or drink?

and the entire city would dissolve in chaos if they shut down cell service

go prepared, of course, but go properly informed
