The Repo Man will come in the middle of the night.

You better believe it. Your property is not even safe. So y don't pay that Court ordered fine...reckon you'll sit it out in jail? Sorry...not if you own a house (or a car). I once put the caveat paperwork in against a lawyer (a landlord) who tried unsuccessfully to diddle some African friends of mine out of their house (apartment) bond. He had a Court order to pay. I couldn't believe that we had the power to sell up the lawyer's house from underneath to obtain the Court ordered fine amount (a piddly $800). THAT afternoon he coughed up the money. Must have got a call from someone handling the paperwork.

[NOTE: To be fair I suspect it wasn't the lawyer doing the 'diddling'. It was his stupid money grabbing wife that he put in charge of collecting the rents/management etc on their block of flats. ]
