Trump is loathed in DC for only one reason.
It isn't because he's a "racist."
It isn't because he's a sexist, or mysoginist, homophobe, or xenophobe, or Hispanophobe or arabophobe, disabledophobe, tax dodge, or anti-Semite.
They never worried about any of that made-up bullshit before, when he was just The Donald on every talk show and running The Apprentice and Miss Universe and his real estate empire. Never one hint of any accusation of racism or any of the other nonsense.
He is feared only because he can't be bought, browbeaten, blackmailed, or bribed.
Since they can't own him, they can't control him; instead it's HE who can control THEM.
