As an aside, my wife who has little $ b/c she sacrificed her career 20 years ago to take care of our disabled child bought me some nice Looking items at Marshalls (@$75 of stuff original retail @$150)

All the stuff was Made In China!! F!! I brought it back for credit, i bought some Woolrich Made In USA socks but spent $30 on a prc laptop microphone I absolutely had to get b/c my Macbook mic stopped working and i cant reset it just yet

I wish we would have a Fuck China war drive and get rid of our shoddy, unnecessary Chinese fabricated metal items and melt ‘em down for armaments - even after the impurities burn off we should have enough material for hundreds of warships, missiles and jet fighters. I happen to have inherited or was gifted over time lots of old school metal items like can openers, hole punchers, staplers, tools that i use in place of Chinese shit. You can see the quality and durability from these 50-70 year old items.

The last thing i bought where i didnt know/care was a wheeled metal frame cooler from Costco 4 years ago. It was 1/2 off but cost slave labor a fraction to make. My dad was a high caliber machinist/diemaker and i can tell crap fabrication a mile away- i almost sliced my fingers off from sharp burrs I didn’t expect on tge handles their “QC” failed to correct
