Meme'ing requires a counterculture concept, one that goes against the mainstream and societal norms. The left claims to be "edgy" and "fighting the system" and call themselves "so brave", " so inspiring" whenever they "stand up" to the right which is usually them preaching to a choir of leftists like we see at Hollywood awards shows and they use the stage to go on monologues about topics they literally know nothing about.

In reality, they can't be counterculture because they ARE the culture. Their ideology has taken over pop culture, media, television, academia, government, big tech, art, and even science.
Secondly, leftists claim to be edgy but in reality, they have been heavily indoctrinated over-socialized and fear nothing more than stepping Outside the cultural Marxist norms aka being politically "correct".
This is only hitting at the very rudimentary levels of leftist psychology but it does explain why they can't meme.
