It is certainly possible that some or all vaccines have unknown risks.

As for autism, the main study linking the MMR vaccine to autism was later shown to be fraudulent, but that is not proof that there is no link whatsoever between autism and any vaccine.

Autism in general is a poorly understood condition, especially the causative factors, although it appears to be largely genetic.

What we do know is that the MMR vaccine is usually effective at preventing measles, mumps, and rubella, compared to the low effectiveness of various influenza vaccines at preventing influenza.

This does not prove that either of them are totally without risk.
