For whatever it's worth: I live in midtown NYC, and despite the aggressive effort by the local gov't to get people to download the contact-tracing app, with billboards, bus-stop ads, and online geo-targeted ads (I was seeing them even on Instagram, where I'm now seeing vaccine ads), it was an abysmal failure. HOPEFULLY, the above app will meet the same fate.
