Great advice and from being at both rallies already, the first time police were friendly had a couple of roads blocked and they even let me go around them to the parking garage I had reserved online. The last rally the cops were assholes and had alot more roads blocked off and wouldn't let us through, They made everyone pay and park in only a couple of parking garages that were the most expensive the one cop even told me even if I somehow went around the other side and parked in the cheaper parking garages she said they were going to be towing everybody's cars that wasn't a "resident". And this was both on Saturdays with nothing special going on. This will be much worse as all the important people will be in DC, I do believe they will start blocking entry outright! Hopefully, Trump can override the mayor and make the police stand down! Pedes like me that are driving should have a backup plan, If you can fit a bike or 2 in our car I would do it, Alot faster than walking!
