That's true. We did purchase vast amounts of our land. We also fought wars for our land also. We acquired nearly all of our western states from Mexico by kicking their asses and making them sign the guadalupe- Hidalgo treaty ( which we paid them after we beat them when we could have just told them to fuck off.
