God, this is so spot on for me, I’ve always followed politics since being a teenager but since impeachment hoax I’ve been glued to it for the sake of staying informed. Remember most people don’t pay attention to this shit like we do, but I think it’s very important at this moment in time. Plenty of my friends and even family think I’m crazy because what they claim to be conspiracy theories IMO are literally just connecting the dots from readily available information that I find here and elsewhere. They think I’m crazy and I think they’re crazy for not giving a damn about being more informed and potentially saving this country. My attitude’s changed so much just in the past year from “America would never slip into full blown socialism” now seeing the mask Nazi’s it’s more along the lines of “why the hell are you not overly concerned about what’s happening, if I told you a year ago 80% of strangers you see would willingly be wearing a mask on the sidewalk and half of those willingly vote for somebody who’s put them or someone they know out of work for ten months” they would’ve called me crazy, now they’re calling me crazy for pointing it out. We are surrounded by sheep and it’s worse than I could’ve ever imagined. This is serious shit and why aren’t they paying attention instead of just “going with the flow” following orders. I’m no gamer, but I guess this is the definition of NPC, and plenty voted Trump and have just accepted well he lost we’ll get em in 4. It’s infuriating, I have to be conscious to not get too irate when discussing this with friends because then it makes my opinions seem fringe. Explaining the portmanteau psyop helps a little to wake up the everyday folks I hang with, but it ain’t easy.
