They had been in a holding pattern for a while before coming in to drop fire retardant on a big bush fire about 1-2kms to the north of my place. Thankfully winds changed around the same time and pushed the fire in the other direction.

Had 5-6 fixed wing water bombers and 4 helitacs buzzing overhead all afternoon setting off car alarms. Good times :p
