All nationalists do not think the way you do. Nationalism does not mean "do what's good for our country by only doing good things and not hurting anyone".

"Nationalists are patriotic" Patriotism and Nationalism can take different forms and manifest in different ways. Not all of them are good. You love your country, you fight for it with your life, you're a patriot. What you're fighting for could still be terrible.
