Could we anticipate businesses especially gyms make their own decision to open up BEFORE May 18th because here in Fort Bend County where I live I do not see our law enforcement acting like lunatics compared to the Houston Police Department?

I think the barbershops and hair cut places like Sports Clips will not wait until the 18th and open up; if they get fined or given a citation they can fight it in the local court to get it hopefully dismissed. Women will want their nail and hair salons too.

May 7th would make; even May 15th is two weeks after the 1st but May 18th is a very stupid, dumb and ignorant date that falls on a Monday (unless most folks are back to work, the gyms will be filled regardless on the day of the week even if Abbott is avoiding the weekend of the 16th and 17th to avoid a congestion of folks).
