Well, of course he needs money to run the PPC. An office, staff, travelling around to meet people to try and get the word out for the party and gain support isn’t free. He also isn’t currently an elected MP, so he no longer has that income he used to have. He can’t survive on oxygen. Yes, he needs money. We all need money.

I do think he wants to win though. The problem is in Canada, like many any other countries, it is very hard hard to get a new party up and running, and get enough support to actually get elected to be able to do something.

Many people like the platform of the PPC, but don’t want to “waste their vote” by splitting the Conservative vote (the actual Conservative party isn’t even really conservative anymore....more like Liberal lite), so they keep voting for the main parties (Cons, Lib, NDP). Heck, the Green party has been around for quite a while and even they hardly get any votes. It’s very hard for people to break away from the indoctrination of “don’t split the vote, if you do you’ll just let the Libs win again” mentality.

Trump was successful in getting elected because he ran on the ticket of an existing party that the people weren’t afraid to support. He hijacked the Republican ticket in the primaries and won despite the inner party pushback because Conservative voters wanted to vote for the Conservative candidate.

I don’t know if that would work in Canada though. Max was in the Conservative Party when he ran for Party leadership. I think he won, and they stole it from him to anoint the preferred candidate of Andrew Scheer. More ballots received than registered Conservative party members, a “calculation” to work out the rank vote system, and they were destroyed before a recount could be done even though Earnst & Young was supposed to do one.

That’s why Max left the party. He new that the party establishment would never “allow” a populist/real conservative person become party leader. The Conservative Party WANTS a centrist/centre left (lib lite) person at the helm. They want to lose gracefully and allow the Globalist agenda to advance.

Heck even “Conservative” Kenney and Ford are implementing lockdowns, “non essential” business closures, banning people seeing their own family or having people on their own personal property, mask mandates, “cancelling” holidays, sports, activities.......They (the global powers that be) do NOT want REAL CONSERVATIVES to have any power.

Canada has fake elections just like the US. They go through the motions, make it look like you have a choice between a couple parties (that in the back room are basically all on the same page) and declare the pre determined winner that they think will be the “best for the country” aka the agenda.

The people that ACTUALLY want to change the system, dismantle the power structure, change trade deals and global pacts/agreements, improve the economy, become more independent, push back on China......they’ll find a way to push them out, or never let them win in the first place (like Biden really beat Bernie or Trump—laughable).

I don’t know how we get out of this. It seems to be happening everywhere.
