From what I've read today, the only reasonable play he has left is to invoke the Insurrection Act and spring the EO13848 trap on all the domestic and international players (traitors). This is the move supporters have been begging him to make for the last 2 months, and he still conceivably could right up to 12:00 noon on the 20th. It would require heavy military support to arrest that many people, but that's where the IA comes in. Then military tribunals and swift public executions.
I know it's the longest of longshots but it is still possible. I'll take a remote possibility over absolute surrender any day. When you account for all that's happened since yesterday it's not difficult to imagine how it might play out.
