I realize now that your original comment was a reply to another comment rather than a standalone so the context of your comment has changed.

Both were wrong but in this case the President of the United States egged on a mob of angry protestors to commit violence with no intention of doing anything himself. I know you disagree but he's been tweeting about January 6th for a month now, knowing fully well what some of his supporters are like and that they might be armed (some of which would legitimately take a bullet for him), he has the power to sway crowds and he bears some responsibility for the deaths at the capitol. It would've been admirable if something had been accomplished but nothing did. And afterwards he tells everybody to go home.

As for BLM, I hate them too, and I routinely get into it with people online.
