I was born in a former Socialist Republic. My great-grandpa was put into prison by the commies for having banned books in his bookshelf. I studied Communism almost my whole adult life. I wanted to know everything there was to know about an ideology that brought a lot of pain and suffering to my family.... And then I came here, to the most free and amazing country on earth and this happens. I am speechless.
