those chicken farms are basically owned by the meeat packers

they sign a contract t buy X chickens and then dictate how they will be fed, kept, managed etc

the persons that actually own the farms basically become employees

it would interesting to see who these people have contracts with

It's pretty clear that the meat packers want to create an artificial shortage to get bailout money and raise prices
