Only God truly knows. I personally think it’s unnecessary to waste mental energy thinking about what if’s because all will be revealed by Him, in His time. Patience is a virtue. Keep the faith. God is great!

Edit: That mental energy would be better directed into prayer for light to expose all darkness, in my opinion.
