One of these is called a spike protein, which is what binds to cells in your body and allow the virus to enter cells and release its viral genome. Once the viral genome (which is RNA not mRNA) is released into the cell, it uses the cell's machinery to create more virus. and the cycle continues.

The mRNA vaccine makes your cells produce ONLY this viral spike protein that your immune system recognizes. The vaccine cannot turn into a replicating virus, it only makes your cells produce this protein. The side effects from the vaccine are caused by your immune system's response to the protein being produced.

It is possible to love Donald Trump and understand the value and function of vaccines. It's not liberal bullshit. Most scientists are liberals, but they don't give a shit about politics. they don't create these vaccines with an agenda.
