A lot of the Local Liaison Medic Teams all had this stuck in the front of their log/notebooks . As the Choppers dropped in to final approach / stand by, about to land in another remote Medieval village, where the Taliban had done a job on the locals, you would often see the Medics flipping to this now grubby, sweat & blood stained note, stuck crooked to a nondescript blank page, like a final private pep talk they were giving themselves .
The teams needed on ground security & the Kids were not good at taking hand signal directions, so the Military decided to get their monies worth out of me & l was tasked with trying to calm the kids & explain what was happening & why in local dialect .
I have always been proud of what we achieved in the Embedded Training Teams (ETT's),took down some of the worst of the worst Jihadist's & bomb builders in our Kill or Capture targeted raids & gained valuable intelligence, mainly in the heart of their strong holds in the 'Taliban Bad Lands on the border.Of my 6 tours in the Military it taught me the most about the ,how low the Jihadists would stoop ,the task we faced & the impossibility of it with one of our arms tied by the hand wringers back in the US,a lot were the same pathetic cowards throwing themselves on the floor & taking selfies for their social media & photo ops just days ago .
Anyone asked how there was no standard evacuation drill they should have all been trained to follow, you know like every other large work place & school in the USA & would be fined or closed down for not implementing ?
