Texas resident... in a little town north of FW. I stay home except to pick up groceries and I go to the doctor each month... so, risk group old lady pede, kek.

We have been eating very well, pedes! My son in law used to be a cook (he now puts plumbing in new houses and buildings). Yesterday we had a 15 pound smoked brisket. That gave his mother and sister a week's worth of meat to take home, too. Last weekend we had a birthday party, so we ordered takeout Crab Shack crawfish, crab clusters, and shrimp with corn and red potatoes. We have 3 freezers (2 are on fridges and one is a 21 ft standalone) and they are full! I am freaked by the stories about no meat, so we keep buying more. In spite of that, we order from our local restaurants at least once a week to keep them in business.

We have had 1 diagnosed XiFlu case here and that was over a month ago. There are massive subdivisions here. Mine has 5,000 + houses! Lots of population, but it's spread out.

This is up near TX Motor Speedway and the Perot family's Alliance Airport corridor. BNSF Railroad headquarters are also close by. There is a massive railroad freight loading yard up there, too. Most all of those massive warehouses (Amazon, Penney's, etc) have always been open and we have had shift change rush hour traffic the whole time. Essential businesses are keeping everything going. Also, lots of work from home happening, because Fidelity and other financial services companies have big presence in a town that's also very close by. Facebook has a large cloud computing facility in that town, too.

Restaurants and fast food have been staying open for takeout and drive-thru orders. Walmart is jammed every day.

My family is outside every day. They like yard work and decided to do it themselves last year. We put a pool in last year (thank goodness) for the only-child 6 year old to have friends come over. That isn't happening currently, but he is still in the pool most days. Good exercise since school is cancelled. My daughter and son in law have both been working this whole quarantine time, so we are doing fine and are in no financial distress.

People also seem to be finding ways to get their hair done if they want to. ;-)
