Pretty sure there is quite a bit of middle ground between "going the fuck off" and condemning his own base. I don't even blame him for doing so but I'm going to call it like I see it. I'm pretty convinced this speech was coerced out of him in order to protect himself and his family. I disagree but can understand why this was probably necessary for him to do.
