Yeah. It’s usually attributed to a densely populated urban county reporting votes, since they swing very blue and big cities will have more population than most counties. Since all those votes are reported in one block you would expect a big jump when a county is ready to report its voting totals.

Two big problems:

  1. This can happen with a fair election, but if the race is close and 1.5% or 2% of your voters get pissed off and stay home because “it’s rigged” - you just lost the close election. And that’s arguably why dems will have the senate (tie + kamal tiebreaker) for the next 2 years. Total disaster. So generally this mindset really cuts off its own nose to spite its face. It wouldn’t surprise me if these charts were posted by shill accounts trying to make a belief “stick” with R voters that their vote will not be counted so don’t go to the polls anyway. Though I have zero evidence that OP is a shill to be clear.
  2. This can coincide with gross fraud. If you can estimate how many fraudulent votes you need to win... and you can manipulate the vote counting and verification rules enough to make it very difficult to challenge votes, then you just slip in barely enough to win your races by a few thousand votes and say “oh man... you guys were so close. Oh well! Good try! Guess we have the presidency and the senate now!” And any time somebody tries to pass voter ID laws you cry racism (despite the fact that implying some races aren’t capable of getting IDs is itself very racist) and any time you get the chance you bend the rules on vote verification/signature verification/date checking to allow for after-the-fact ballot harvesting and the kind of shenanigans we saw at 1am on election night after polls “shut down” and then booted election monitors and kept counting votes.

After this election R’s should be fighting 10x harder for decent election integrity laws, but the swamp R’s were only too happy to see Trump get the boot IMO. Trump winning every major Bellweather County but one, R’s winning almost every “toss-up” senate race, Trump increasing voter turnout massively as an incumbent president but still losing, Trump gaining with minority voters significantly but still losing, and voting law changes being pushed through the courts in states shortly before the election should be triggering a rigorous national conversation. Every day FOX and CNN should be covering how it was that Joe Biden won after calling a “lid” for most of his campaign, how so many statistical indicators suggested Trump should have won handily, how Joe, statesman of the century, despite underperforming Hillary in urban centers almost everywhere in the country, managed to generate insane urban voter turnout in exactly the 4 urban centers (Detroit, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Madison) the needed to for 4 states to win the election. It wouldn’t defy the laws of physics if it were legit... maybe he actually did campaign in exactly the right cities (unlike Hillary who stupidly ignored the rust belt...), maybe Joe’s team targeted his ad buys perfectly to get to 270. But I doubt it... instead of talking about how incredible it is that Joe Biden won, every media outlet seems to be in the business of telling us all to pay no attention to the man behind the curtain, shaming anyone who asks questions about the election as fomenting violence and insurrection, and stamping DJT posts on social media as “disputed” (before banning conservatives outright).

Sorry, that turned into a longer post than expected. It’s definitely a losing play to inculcate your own base with the mindset that voting is rigged, so why vote - but we’ll also lose if we don’t get a transparent and honest voting system put in place nationwide. I might be less of diehard here than others, but if Joe Biden got the votes to win then he should be president and I’d rather everyone be on the same page about that, but it seems like his media lapdogs don’t even want to talk about making the voting system faster and more transparent... which makes me think they’re hiding something ...and makes me far more suspicious of the election we just witnessed.
