Don’t focus on finding a better woman, focus on creating a better you.
Don’t focus on finding a better woman, focus on creating a better you. Remember, marriage is a Biblical concept and is a covenant not a contract. Find a woman that loves God more than she loves you and divorce will not be an option. I spent my college years wasting my time with THOTs and it wasn’t until I decided that I wanted a wife and not a girlfriend that I started attracting the right type of women. Find a good Church and focus on becoming closer to God and trust he will provide. I am now very happily married and the wife that he blessed me with was something that I never could have attracted on my own. The total package: total smoke show, two masters degrees, great job, college cheerleader but more importantly she loves Jesus. I thank God every day for such an awesome wife and know that she was put in my life because I was faithful. I took two years off dating and focused on being the best me I could be. I cancelled my cable and did nothing but work, hit the gym and read the bible cover to cover. I no longer needed a woman to validate me and I was completely happy being alone. It was then I started having options and girls started approaching me because they saw that I was different than the betas that were part of their fan club. I had to weed through several fake Christians to find the right one and that may have been the hardest part. Remember, the Bible tells us that a true Christian exhibits the fruits of the spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. If you use that as a criteria for finding a wife than it will help you identify the type of woman that is marriage material. You will be tested and seductresses will be attracted to you, but do not fall for them. One tip I will give you is remember what the Bible says about pre marital sex. If she is willing to sleep with you, she is willing to cheat on you. If you take that off the table she will respect you and know that you are faithful to Him and you will gain a level of clarity that will allow you to find the right one and avoid the wrong ones. If you want to know God’s plan for love, dating and marriage there are some great Christian resources out there. The ones I found that were most useful were:
