Homeschooled four kids in the nineties up to HS. Could they have learned more in a school? Maybe. I didn't care, I was more worried about their souls and humanity than their brains. Worked out well for us. (Third child effectively taught herself how to read using a computer game, when I realized what she could absorb I was amazed.)
