Fair enough, I'm obviously not going to argue with someone who lives there (though my consideration in moving there — more based on a "there's nowhere else to go [as an American], but Switzerland seems like at least the only other ok enough alternative — did come from people I know who do live there and all seem pretty happy about it).

As for the CCP ownership aspect: Aside from the fact that, as an American, I can say the same about my own country, what is it that makes that so? Is it financial and/or land ownership? Manufacturing buyouts and/or outsourcing (I've heard they've prevented that, but idk)? (I'm genuinely asking, it's something I'm not informed enough on, other than knowing about central banks in Switzerland).

And the Dominion/Scytll ownership... I've done a lot of digging and truly don't know what to believe. It seems a lot of countries are involved (intentionally) to avoid having a single identity to place blame on. I'll do more research, specifically on Switzerland's involvement. All that said, it still seems like one of the few remaining decent places to live. Not to say it doesn't have it's problems, but they don't seem to be unique problems, or problems that don't also exist in at least the same, likely greater capacity, as America ::shrug::
