What's wrong with protesting, exactly? What's stopping me from organizing one right now?
I mean, violent protesting? Understood. But what's wrong with peacefully protesting for redress of grievances?
[the first] amendment prohibits Congress from "prohibiting ... the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
If we're afraid to peacefully protest against tyranny (or even publicly state an intent) — might as well kill the country dead where it stands.
