Okay, I am Monday morning quarterbacking with this reply. Looking back this is what I would have done. Tax cut, reduce regulations, making corporate friends with business friendly policies, strict immigrations, no refugees, no citizens harmful to the USA, We can probably agree these were positives ( I will assume you will agree with me). He should not have made comments that are not fact based. He should not have had rallies which he sounded like he was on the apprentice rather than the POTUS, He should have avoided any potential controversy on Ukraine or conflict of interest. This allowed the Democrats to checkmate him in the land of public opinion. He should not have antagonized the press. Most presidents don't like the press but they hold their thoughts, grin it and bear it for the sake of public opinion. I know people liked him because he spoke his mind, but there is a price to be paid for that. LOST OF PUBLIC OPINION. He totally misunderstood the power of public opinion which resulted in a lost in the election. Imagine if he had not done all the "should nots" above and included pointing out the lower immigration. Imagine if he had positive public opinion and emphasized how he lifted many groups (white, black, Hispanic, working class) up better than any other Prez. He would have won with a landslide. Whether you believe the election was stolen or not, if he had done all the above, it would have been a landslide in his favor. No way anyone can cheat him with such a large margin. But instead he set himself for a close election which allowed the election to be stolen (if you believe it). I know he was attacked from every angle, but he made mistakes also. It's my humble opinion, that was inexperience, ego and a bit of arrogance.
Now since we are talking hypotheticals'. Imagine if he won a second term and did all the business friend policies. The stock market would continue to do better. Also imagine if the next pres after Trump was his pick or followed his policies. Also his family gets into politics. The stock market would go through the roof and wealth generated from the market would be fantastic.
