Sunday Gunday, in a pre-Patriot Act world, because that's where all the current government over-reach stems from, is a good and virtuous idea. However, now, it's a bad idea because it is essentially an electrionic registration of firearms and I don't believe all of your users understand the implications of doing so, nor do the majority of them have the technical wherewithal to sufficiently scrub their pictures of identifying information. Hell, I'm not even sure it's technically possible to obfuscate identifying information from pictures on a modern OS like Windows from inserting stenographic identifiers beyond exif data or some other as yet not well known technologies. I don't even trust open source anymore.
I would love to participate in Sunday Gunday, but we don't live in that country anymore.
