Maybe I'm wrong, but anyone who says "don't buy from China!" and then points you to Amazon (as an admitted member of Amazon's affiliate program, no less) is either living under a rock or lying to your face to make a buck.
Direct quote from their website: "Not Made In China World is a blog dedicated to finding you the finest goods, manufactured everywhere except China. We participate in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon."
Second site from your edit looks like almost the same thing.
MY 2¢:
1. I'm starting to think Amazon is actually running/funding/encouraging (or some mix of those three) all these e-commerce websites trying to gain our trust with a shiny "Made in USA" label so they can just funnel us back into their wallet, ecosystem, and ultimately so they can keep building and preserving their power...You know, for whenever Xiden asks them for the goods on everyone who's ever bought an American flag off Amazon.
2. We have to start doing our homework and due diligence on this kind of stuff- to figure out if it's really made in the USA, and if the retailer/distributor/etc is also supporting the USA. Probably should be like 'certified organic', 'certified [insert desired quality here]'...if they can't PROVE to you that it's all beneficial to the USA, then you and your money walk away. The Big Tech censorship reality we see unfolding before us today would've been much less likely if we were already in this habit/mindset back when they were all just budding companies.
