I've read that there may have been a gas chamber at Auschwitz, but, if it existed, it was destroyed before allied troops arrived. The claim is that all gas chambers you can tour today were in fact built by the allies for that very purpose. Furthermore, the claim is that this fact isn't even disputed by the organizations giving the tours.

If you have reliable information about this, I would be grateful, as it is a difficult subject to find trustworthy sources on.
