But he swiftly got the hell out of the way in very "not like Trump" fashion. Just saying.

January 6th caused a major change in his tone.

I mean just look at it, Trump, his family, his administration, and his supporters were all betrayed, silenced, and threatened in the course of a couple days. It has all just been so surreal.

It is my opinion that Trump had exhausted all of the practical options to remain in office. Sure, he probably could've gone with any one of the proposed "nuclear" options, figuratively, but with so many people working against him, it probably wouldn't have succeeded anyway and would've left the country in bad shape.

It is also possible that once it was confirmed that congress would be controlled by democrats- and RINOs -that he decided there was no sense in remaining in office. His second term would've been meaningless, with everything he attempted to do being blocked or overturned.

Trump is probably just tired of the shit. He deserves a much needed vacation, so he exited as gracefully as possible without conceding a single thing to the democrats.

Again, the livelihood of Trump, his family, members of his administration, and his supporters were threatened. . .he probably considered that when deciding against taking further overt actions.

In reality, we made it through eight long years of Obama, we can hopefully do the same with Biden. I am praying that local/state-level politicians and attorney generals don't put up with the shit and put a stop to a lot of his "progressive" agenda.

With any luck, we'll see Ivanka run for Senate, and Trump run for President in 2024. . .if the country is still standing that is.

If we want to go the most logical route, Trump is probably just tired of the shit. He deserves a much needed vacation, so he exited as gracefully as possible without conceding a single thing to the democrats.
