Thomas was probably a Trump loyalist this whole time. And he was next in line to be chief justice.

What awful luck, if Trump was able to get rid of Roberts, we could have had a loyalist as chief justice, as opposed to Roberts. That could really have changed the SCOUTS case.

Thomas as chief justice also would have allowed us to repeal numerous gun-control laws. Truly a dark timeline.
