They get basic stuff right. She is indeed a garden variety New Yorker of Italian background.

Every brunette with a strong profile isn't Jewish. This one isn't. She got in trouble in Catholic school:

1986–2005: Early life

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta was born on March 28, 1986, at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, New York City,[2] to an upper middle class Catholic family. Both of her parents have Italian ancestry, and she also has more distant French-Canadian roots.[3] Her parents are Cynthia Louise (née Bissett), a philanthropist and business executive, and Internet entrepreneur Joseph Germanotta,[4] and she has a younger sister named Natali.[5] Brought up in the Upper West Side of Manhattan, Gaga said in an interview that her parents came from lower-class families and worked hard for everything.[6][7] From age 11, she attended the Convent of the Sacred Heart, a private all-girls Roman Catholic school.[8] Gaga described her high school self as "very dedicated, very studious, very disciplined" but also "a bit insecure". She considered herself a misfit and was mocked for "being either too provocative or too eccentric".[9]

Upper West Side Jews just don't go as far as sending their kids to schools named "Sacred Heart."

I checked on her mother. Her mother's name, Bissett, is Scotch-Irish:

"Bissett is a surname that can be attributed to two or three origins. At the moment, it's somewhat more commonly Irish, descending from the Bissett family, who arrived in what is now County Antrim in Ulster in the mid-thirteenth century from Scotland.[citation needed] Many of the family remained in Scotland, but their descendants more commonly spelled their surname Bisset without doubling the final -t-,"

So no. Not this one. Whew.

Oh, she likes Israel. Fine, but that doesn't make her a Jew.
