Unfortunately - you are wrong. That IS NOT any larp but SCIENCE.

I am not American of course and my university wasn't on worlds top 800 (it was between 800-1000) ,but still I am MSc engineer who has even chance to do PhD (but resigned, family reasons) in my country, so I think I could evaluate some so basic scientific claims ok ?

I don't know anything about time travels with use of quantum computer ("Qanon claims" *), however quantum internet is a thing. Especially if it is about security. That is truth that quantum computer with enough qbits would allow to decrypt RSA, and by half lower the complexity of AES cipher decryption by brute force attacks (if NSA will make/have some "quantum rainbow tables" - even more probably). So that makes obvious problem with encrypted communication.

and here comes quantum internet as countermeasure: Quantum Internet is about communication secure against tampering and MiTM attacks. Those technology was already tried in 2007 in Switzerland's ellection - source: https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/swiss-test-quantum-cryptography/

in 2007 the problem was low range - only 1,5 km (1640 yards - less than mile), but we are now 13 years after. And you know - at the beginning it was 12,6 inches in 1991,so I would guess technology might be maybe usable (but costs would be still very high).

  • while those claims about Qanon posts doing some time travel look not proved Feynman interpretation of positon as backward traveling in time electron shows there might be maybe teoretical possibility.Maybe. If many of scientists claiming that useful information cannot travel faster than light are wrong. You know 40 years ago they were claiming there are no magnetic monopoles, but years ago there was article in "Science" claiming something like magnetic monopole was found by some quantum physicists,so I say "maybe",despite it looks that information time travel would be by current science mostly called impossible, or at least very unlikely to happen.

But I am no quantum physicist and I may be wrong. There is discussion about usability of quantum teleportation and so on as it is against scientific academic theories based on Einstein relativity about information not traveling faster than light - if I of course understand this discourse right.
