She switches her race to suit whatever purpose she needs. She ran as an Indian American because the North Bay and Silicon Valley is full of Asians and (Asian) Indians. Black are an Oakland thing. Silicon Valley is racist as fuck (check their hiring practices). Source? Me. I lived there until the late 2000s.
If she ran for office in Oakland - then - she would have pushed her black half. But she didn't. She claimed to be Indian.
