Are there any real text exchanges like this or are we going to keep posting this fake shit over and over?

You wanna know how I know it’s fake? I could tell you about every single person in my life who hated President Trump, and why they hated him. They don’t need to remind me that they hated him at the beginning of a “setup.”

Name one text exchange you’ve had with somebody that went like this? The first reply would almost always be something like “that sucks, what did Jeremy say? Did they tell him when they’d know for sure?” Or would you immediately type a fucking novel that ticks off every single check mark of confirmation bias that we have?

People really need to get better at spotting fakes if we’re ever going to get through this whole “post-truth” thing. It’s hard to get to the truth when many of us don’t even know what it looks like anymore.
