I am very impressed with the way they examine the statistics and compare them to past trends. The site appears to be updated frequently, sometimes when I'm writing a post on Chicago crime the shooting/homicide numbers rise before I hit "send." (Of course this is to be expected, before Our President took office the stats were much worse: a shooting every 2 hours on average, with a homicide every 11 hours.)
Also interesting: normally, numbers of this magnitude result in MSM clickbait headlines about a "mass shooting." National MSM ignores these incidents, because it contradicts their Leftist Agenda narratives. We are currently seeing a Trayvon Martin-style "news cycle" claiming an innocent "jogger" was killed for sport by White Supremacists, while ignoring/dismissing the "jogger's" history of gun crime/probation violation and his matching the description/apparel of the culprit of recent burglary/property crime in the area (and... the hammer/"fitness mallet" he was reportedly armed with.)
If the predictable rioting occurs as usual after the verdict is announced for the men accused of defending themselves, that "news cycle" may continue for weeks. As it is, "Ahmaud Arbery" has barged into our lexicon and the false narrative misrepresenting his death will be used as a convenient DNC/Leftist Talking Point from now on.
However: earlier this year, 7 people were shot in Chicago in a single incident. 6 people were shot in a separate incident. In 2 other incidents, 5 were shot (per incident.) In 2 others, 4 were shot (per incident.) Normally, a "mass shooting" is defined as 4 or more shot in a single incident. Have we heard anything from MSM about 6 separate "mass shootings" in Chicago this year? Nope! They were too busy "reporting" and/or backpedaling from Jussie Smolliet's disintegrating "hate crime" hoax narrative, and now they are distracting with the Georgia self-defense shooting narrative.
