That's actually not true, historically or conceptually. The majority take slavery to torture. America is an extraordinary example, nowadays I HIGHLY doubt men are hard enough to fight for freedom like our ancestors did. Those were hard men, marching through New England in the winter, with no shoes, no food, smallpox, no money, and no hope. Some first hand accounts of the dozen mile long trail of blood as regiments marched south to reinforce Washington without ANY SHOES in New England winter, and some of the coldest that Century due to major global volcanic activity, I don't see that now.
Slavery is not worse than Genocide, genocide's goal is to exterminate religion and peoples from the earth. Like the Spanish Catholics did the the Aztecs and because of which we now know almost nothing about the Ulmec and an entire epoch of human history.
Your arguments are weak, we would not "wipe them off the map" for selling Muslims, that makes no sense. By that logic we would have already wiped out Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Afghanistan - (one of those we consider a "friendly" trading partner) for having an ongoing slave trade that has lasted 1600 years.
