I was in Myanmar for last election. The turn-out for NLD is huge, i really mean huge. Meanwhile, the military party has almost no turnout at all. They go around handing out flyers where you live, thats all. NLD has rallies all over Yangon, a majority of shops and taxis have NLD flags, to show support. Just as a comparison image you have two candidates,

  1. Candidate 1 (the NLD) gathers large crowds, everywhere you go you see support for them.
  2. Candidate 2 (military party) cannot gather a crowd even when they try. No support from regular people.
