You guys do know that these "manly" Chinese guys will never get a chance to marry anyone, and that the Chinese government is desperate to find a way to occupy their time. They can't even find enough women to fill brothels, which is why a lot of North Korean escapee women get sex trafficked. So yeah, of course some young men start acting effeminate. They probably got groomed and raped too.

The only question is whether the CCP will risk parental anger by killing off all these only-child sons, or if they will just continue to use them as concentration camp guards to kill men of other ethnic/religious groups that didn't kill their girl babies, and rapists of Tibetan women, Uyghur women, Christian women, Buddhist women....
