When Christ fought Satan, I always figured it was more-so metaphorical for him struggling with his faith. Jesus' soul is God, but his body was made of flesh and blood, so he still contended with human struggles. The Devil can possess the bodies of those who accept him, but there is no creature with horns and a pitchfork lol.
I find it funny when people ask "what does God look like??" The answer is Jesus. God is a multi-layer being consisting of the Father (creator of the universe), the Son (Christ AKA God's body), and the Holy Spirit (God's soul). It amazes me how many people don't understand their own faith lol.
If only everyone realized that Christianity is far more interesting than the latest superhero movie... Accepting Christ puts you on a higher spiritual plain. You realize that this world is fleeting, and living for selfish reasons is vanity.
