I just find it bizarre. Sure, I could buy religion having alien origins, but why would you take a figure like Lucifer, and claim he's a benevolent entity? Lucifer got kicked out of the "cool kids club" for being an egotistical, rebellious asshole. Some of the Jews who rejected Christ formed the Synagogue of Satan, which aided in the creation of Catholicism and the Vatican. The rumor is that they also created Islam.

My question is, what the hell is the difference between Satanism and Luciferianism?? Lucifer BECAME Satan. Why would there be separate faiths? Looks like I gotta do more research....
