There are going to be a lot of left wingers who realise they've been fooled or peer pressured into something that's wrong. Perhaps that hang on a minute nothing has really changed moment.

For the people driving this however you need to understand their criminal mentality. In their mind they've the ones who did the good deed. They expect to be patted on the back for it. As far as they're concerned they've saved democracy. This is something they truly believe.

Criminals often end up believing their own excuses. This is what is going on here with journalists, politicians and mass communications companies all believing their own rhetoric and giving themselves bonuses for their good work saving the world.

For a lot of them the guilt isn't going to well up from within. Many of them are going to experience it in the form of things coming back to them though a lot will be in denial and unable to connect what they receive with what they dish out.

When you support evil it is quite often the case that what goes around comes around. This is why a lot of people who do evil end up in positions where it's not immediately reciprocal, they have the bigger stick.

This in particular applies to politicians, judges, moderators, journalists, etc. In a system where things have gone wrong essential positions like this that require great responsibility end up filled with bad actors. Who punishes the punishers when they get it wrong?
